Choices stored on your device
My List, episode checkpoints, recently browsed title pages and your selected viewing country are kept in this browser’s local storage. They are not an account shared automatically across devices. If you clear the site’s stored data, those choices can disappear. Use the backup feature first if you want to keep them.
When other services receive a request
Posters and backdrop images are loaded from TMDB’s image service. Your browser contacts that service to display them. Watch now takes you to JustWatch with the selected title in the search address and the chosen country in the path. Those services handle the requests they receive under their own policies.
The search field processes catalog choices on this site. It does not ask for payment details, a password or a browsing account. A viewing service you open afterwards may require its own account or payment, depending on the offer you select. That is a separate interaction.
Managing your own list
Remove individual saved titles with their heart buttons. Clear an episode checkpoint from the series page or My List. The recently browsed page has a separate clear-history control. Keep backup text private if you do not want other people to see your saved entertainment choices.
On a shared computer, use the correct browser profile and remember that other people using that profile may see its stored list. See backup instructions before changing devices.
