Save the choice while you remember it
The heart beside a poster adds that production to My List. The title page has the same save control, so you can read about a film first and decide afterwards. A series checkpoint is separate: it records the last episode you completed rather than simply marking the entire show as finished.
Make a portable copy
- Open My List in the browser containing your saved titles.
- Select Create backup and copy the complete text from the backup box.
- Keep that text somewhere you can reach from the other device.
- Open My List in the other browser, paste the full text into Restore backup and select Merge backup.
The merge keeps existing saved titles and adds recognised entries from the backup. It does not duplicate a title that is already there. Existing episode checkpoints take precedence, which helps avoid replacing newer progress with an older backup. Review the result before clearing the original browser.
What the backup does not contain
It is not a login, a subscription, a video download or a record of what you watched on an external player. A different brand’s backup is not accepted as a TheFlixer backup. Unrecognised productions are skipped rather than converted into the wrong movie.
Clearing site data, switching browser profiles or closing a private session can remove browser-held choices. Keep a fresh backup when the list becomes something you would miss. The recently browsed list is a separate convenience, not a substitute for deliberately saving a title.
